Choose apps for the VPN on Android

Follow these steps

Use app routing to include or exclude selected apps from the VPN connection.

1. Disconnect before changing your app selection.
2. Open the app selection or routing settings in HaloVPN.
3. Choose whether only selected apps use the VPN or selected apps bypass it.
4. Select the intended apps and save.
5. Reconnect and test both a selected and an unselected app.

Check the result

Apps outside the tunnel do not have its network protection. A server location does not change GPS or your banking account region. This guide covers Android only.

When you need support

Include your device platform, app version, network type and the step that failed. Remove personal information from screenshots. Never share passwords, account tokens or recovery codes.
