AppsiOS & Android
Discord. Your people, your conversations.
Drop into a channel, catch up with friends or get the group together. Use HaloVPN on unfamiliar Wi-Fi to add a layer of protection to your mobile connection.

Make the first hello easy
Before joining voice, check microphone permission, audio output and your headset connection. Try a short conversation before a longer session. If text works but voice does not, compare on a trusted network. Keep the same channel and device so a different setup does not confuse the comparison.
If voice keeps connecting
Discord notes that voice over a VPN needs UDP support. Transports vary by location and app version, so a connected HaloVPN state does not certify Discord voice compatibility. Check Discord’s status and official voice help before repeated reconnects. Do not turn off device security to make a call work.
Your everyday connection, in a few taps
Connect before opening your favorite app on unfamiliar Wi-Fi. Keep the app’s own account protection enabled too.
- Install HaloVPN from the App Store or Google Play.
- Finish any Wi-Fi sign-in, then connect HaloVPN.
- Confirm the connected state before opening the app.
- On Android, choose app routing if you only want selected apps to use the VPN.
Questions, answered
Can I choose which apps use HaloVPN?
On Android, yes: include or exclude selected apps, then reconnect. Excluded apps use the normal network without VPN protection. This per-app control is not available in HaloVPN for iOS.
Does HaloVPN guarantee Discord voice will work?
No. Voice requires a compatible network path, including UDP support. Transport availability, permissions and Discord service status all matter. Check the official help if voice remains unavailable.
