Before inviting friends, check that everyone uses a compatible Minecraft edition and version. Confirm the host’s world is available, then choose your connection before joining.

Check versions and permissions
Install HaloVPN and update Minecraft. Check multiplayer permission for your account and make sure friends use compatible editions.
Connect before joining the world
Start with Smart Connect or a nearby location. On Android, include Minecraft in app routing if enabled.
Join and test together
Use the correct invite or server details, then test movement and building. Leave the world before changing your connection.
Finish updates and any Wi-Fi sign-in before connecting. Choose your route before a match, not during it. A VPN may increase latency; compare on the same network and follow the game’s rules.

You cannot join a friend’s world
Check that the world is open to multiplayer, account permissions allow joining and both players have compatible versions. Review Minecraft’s official multiplayer help before treating it as a VPN problem.
A server or Realm is unavailable
Confirm the address with the owner, check whether the server is online and review any Realms subscription notice. A VPN does not create a server or renew a Realm.
Blocks or movement update slowly
Compare the same world on the same network. Ask whether other players also see delay: host performance, world complexity and connection quality can all matter.

Does HaloVPN host Minecraft worlds or include Realms?
No. Hosting, server access and Realms subscriptions are provided separately. This page covers mobile connection preparation, not Java Edition or console VPN setup.
Will HaloVPN lower my ping?
Not always. Your network, the distance to the VPN and game servers, and congestion all affect the result. Compare the same game mode and network before deciding; a VPN can also add delay.
Does a VPN unlock accounts or change game rules?
No. HaloVPN does not remove suspensions, change account eligibility or guarantee a matchmaking region. Use the game’s official account and support options, and follow its rules.
